There are two internal and external reasons for the foaming phenomenon of alcohol silicone rubber.
1, external causes: construction conditions, mainly due to excessive temperature difference or construction surface temperature too high.
2, internal reasons: the dealcoholized silicone glue itself causes, because the dealcoholizing glue releases methanol in the curing process, and the boiling point of the methanol is low. Therefore, when the surface temperature of the construction is too high, the released methanol can not be volatilized in time and effectively, and it will form a bulge and bubble phenomenon in the interior of the colloid.
The phenomenon of easy foaming of dealcoholic silicone rubber has not been completely solved. According to the vulcanization of the product, there are commonly used methods for reducing or reducing bubbling in the industry.
1. Control the amount of crosslinking agent, because the more the addition of crosslinking agent, the greater the amount of methanol released, the easier it is to blister.
2. Reduce the time of colloid drying, allowing the release of methanol to have sufficient time to evaporate.
3. The use of methanol absorbent has not yet found a good absorbent.
4. During construction, we mainly avoid exposure.
